I made some of these for a Valentine’s Day Bake Sale. I got the idea from this post from NorthWestMamma. They were such a hit I decided to do some for St. Patrick’s Day and I created some printable tags for you to use. These were super simple. I cleaned some Starbucks Frappacino bottles. You can read about how easy that was in my post Super Fast Way to Remove Labels From Glass. All you need is a few simple items that you probably have already.
- Clean bottle or jar (mason jar would look cute)
- Cupcale Liners
- Gold Wrapped Candy
- Bakers Twine
- Card Stock
- St Patricks Day Labels large, St Patricks Day Labels small, St Patricks Day Blessing
Just fill your bottle with some gold wrapped candy, cover the top with a cupcake line and secure it with the bakers string. I used some of those tiny clear hair bands that I got a huge package of from the Dollar Tree to hold the cupcake liner in place while I tied the string. Next, print out your tags. I used paper punches to cut out the circles. I used a 2.5 inch circle for the large and a 1.5 inch for the small, but you could cut them by hand (The top of the bottle makes a good template for the small one!). You can use a hole punch and secure the tag by threading the the twine through it or use a tiny clothespin like I did. And voila! You have a cheap, easy Saint Patrick’s Day gift for a teacher or coworker or even your kids! Mine already has his eye on one! Happy St. Patrick’s Day Y’all!
